Aust CP Eng more info Bryan King joined SCP Consulting as a senior design engineer in 1996 and was promoted to a Director in 2006. He completed his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1984 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and also gained the SETMA Timber Engineering Prize. He migrated to Australia in 1986 and for the two years in New Zealand and 22 years in Australia, has been involved in a broad range of engineering projects in the commercial and industrial areas. Consulting experience with SCP since 1996 has included design management, design and supervision. Prior to joining SCP Consulting, he has worked with Holmes Wood Poole & Johnstone Ltd in New Zealand, Holmes Consulting P/L and Rust PPK Pty Ltd. He is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia as well as a Member of the Civil and Structural Colleges. Bryan is also a member of the Association of Consulting Structural Engineers of NSW. He has co-authored a paper discussing the Animal Pavilions at the New Sydney Showground and presented the paper at the 1998 Australasian Structural Engineering Conference in Auckland, New Zealand. |
