David Templeton is a Director with 16 years of consulting engineering experience. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia and is a Registered Professional Engineer, Queensland. (RPEQ). He started his design career with the Roads and Traffic Authority designing steel & concrete road bridges and widening of existing bridges. David commenced with SCP Consulting as a design engineer working on a diverse range of public infrastructure projects for the Dept of Transport. These included railway stations (new and refurbished), wharves, multi-level carparks and bus interchanges. As a senior engineer with SCP he took on the responsibility for the design and structural design management of multi-storey post-tensioned concrete commercial & residential projects. Large Structural steel industrial buildings were also designed & managed by him over this time. A period as the Structural Manager of Cardno Young saw he and his staff carry out the concept design, detailed design & construction supervision of educational, industrial & aged care facility buildings. David returned to SCP Consulting in 2005 as an Associate and continues to manage the design of large residential, commercial & industrial projects. His particular design expertise is in post-tensioned concrete & structural steel. |
