Peter Trickett Director Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Structural) |

Peter Trickett is a Director of SCP Consulting Pty Ltd with twenty-five years of consulting experience. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and a registered Chartered Professional Engineer. Since graduation, he has progressively gained experience in the design of a variety of building types, essential for a consultancy offering specialist structural services. These buildings include large commercial developments, industrial projects involving conventional warehousing through to heavy processing using overhead cranes. Other projects include club and recreational facilities, infrastructure and heavy duty pavements. Currently, he is responsible for the concept design of most of the firms projects and subsequent delegation of design and site supervision duties. Particular emphasis is placed on achieving functional and economic engineering solutions with attention to buildability and construction details. He is the Managing Director, responsible for the office marketing, financial and strategic planning. |

Bryan King Director Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) |

Bryan King joined SCP Consulting as a senior design engineer in 1996 and was promoted to a Director in 2006. He completed his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1984 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and also gained the SETMA Timber Engineering Prize. He migrated to Australia in 1986 and for the two years in New Zealand and 22 years in Australia, has been involved in a broad range of engineering projects in the commercial and industrial areas. Consulting experience with SCP since 1996 has included design management, design and supervision. Prior to joining SCP Consulting, he has worked with Holmes Wood Poole & Johnstone Ltd in New Zealand, Holmes Consulting P/L and Rust PPK Pty Ltd. He is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia as well as a Member of the Civil and Structural Colleges. Bryan is also a member of the Association of Consulting Structural Engineers of NSW. He has co-authored a paper discussing the Animal Pavilions at the New Sydney Showground and presented the paper at the 1998 Australasian Structural Engineering Conference in Auckland, New Zealand. |

Paul Siewert Director Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)

Paul Siewert is a Director with 16 years of consulting engineering experience. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Paul has had a variety of consulting engineering experience in concrete, steel and timber structures. His early experience was with a specialised timber engineering consultant. As a result, Paul has gained valuable experience in the design of all types of timber structures including warehouses, churches and road and railway bridges. Paul has also worked with Civil & Civic as a design engineer and with Ove Arup & Partners. Overseas experience includes the part design of Asian Games Aquatic Centre in Bangkok and numerous timber structures in New Zealand. Consulting experience with SCP since 1996 has included the design & documentation of numerous large scale projects (refer previous) as well as numerous industrial, commercial and domestic type structures. His area of expertise includes structural steel buildings, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete and timber structures. Paul is also experienced in the design of wind sensitive structures and recent projects include the design of a 50m chimney in Gladstone Queensland which is in a cyclonic region. Other specialist fields include general structural dynamics including Earthquake analysis and Finite Element Modelling. |

David Templeton Director Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)

David Templeton is a Director with 16 years of consulting engineering experience. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia and is a Registered Professional Engineer, Queensland. (RPEQ). He started his design career with the Roads and Traffic Authority designing steel & concrete road bridges and widening of existing bridges. David commenced with SCP Consulting as a design engineer working on a diverse range of public infrastructure projects for the Dept of Transport. These included railway stations (new and refurbished), wharves, multi-level carparks and bus interchanges. As a senior engineer with SCP he took on the responsibility for the design and structural design management of multi-storey post-tensioned concrete commercial & residential projects. Large Structural steel industrial buildings were also designed & managed by him over this time. A period as the Structural Manager of Cardno Young saw he and his staff carry out the concept design, detailed design & construction supervision of educational, industrial & aged care facility buildings. David returned to SCP Consulting in 2005 as an Associate and continues to manage the design of large residential, commercial & industrial projects. His particular design expertise is in post-tensioned concrete & structural steel. |
