PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  New research facility for cardiac research including conference facilities, research animals.

SPECIAL FEATURES:  10 Storey building with special vibrational and functional issues.  High degree of structure / services co-ordination.  Deep excavation adjacent to sensitive structures (Garvan Building).

ST VINCENT’S HOSPITAL O’BRIEN BUILDING REDEVELOPMENT – DARLINGHURST

END CLIENT:  St Vincent and Mater Health, Sydney

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  New Mental Health Facility

SPECIAL FEATURES:  10 Storey concrete framed building with deep excavation next to sensitive structures (Cahill, Delacy, Xavier and Aikenhead Buildings).

THE POCHE CENTRE – WOLSTONECRAFT

END CLIENT:  Sydney Melanoma Unit Mercy Foundation

PROJECT VALUE:  $25 million

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Specialist designed skin cancer clinic incorporating treatment and research.

SPECIAL FEATURES:  Up to 5 storey building built into a sloping site.  Extensive us of precast and post tensioned concrete.

LIVERPOOL HOSPITAL EXPANSION

END CLIENT:  SSWAHS

PROJECT VALUE:  $296 Million

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Extension of existing hospital increasing clinical service capacity, cancer and pathology services.  Hospital extension will have up to 8 storeys including roof top plant and helipad.

SPECIAL FEATURES:  Fully post tensioned structure, with specialist design for equipment and vibrational characteristics associated with occupancy and equipment use.  Up to 50 concrete pours of suspended structure.

PROJECT VALUE: $7.5 million
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The gymnasium consists of a multipurpose hall suitable for playing basketball and other court games such as volleyball, netball and badminton. It also has a Kaiser training room, a cardio room, a weights training room and a circuit room. The helicopter underwater escape trainer has a 20m x 12m training pool, a helicopter simulator module, briefing room, staff office and pool plant rooms maintenance and drying room.
