CSR Sawmill - Oberon

PROJECT VALUE: $65 MILLION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construction of a new sawmill adjacent to an existing sawmill at Oberon,
specifically to utilize a significant volume of the State recyclable pine forest resources. Logs are
sawn and sold as timber products while waste is used to make MDF particle board.

Special Features:
One of the largest sawmills in Australia.

Primo Smallgoods - Chullora

PROJECT VALUE: $25 million
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A new state of the art bulk meat and smallgoods processing facility comprising of offices, production hall and freezer facilities covering 15,000 s.q.m.
special features: 

Steel portal frame design with 25m long transfer trusses to give large column free production areas.
600 tonnes of structural steelwork including suspended overhead walkways and support structure for production plant.

TCC - Port Botany

PROJECT:- submarine fibre optic Cable factory

PROJECT VALUE: $130 million in five stages
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: High technology factory and office complex for the manufacture of undersea
fibre optic cables and for its storage before delivery onto a ship for subsequent installation.
Special features:
First purpose-built facility of its type in the world.
100 tonne crane to handle 90 tonne bobbins.

CHIMNEY STACK, QUEENSLAND

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Detailed design for 60 metre high unlined steel stack for pilot plant on 
Queensland Coast in a cyclonic region.
Special Features:
Steel design to AS 4100 using latest local buckling rules. Chimney also assessed to British Standard BS 4076. Long-wind and cross-wind responses analysed using dynamic method of AS 1170, Part 2

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A new bottling and canning facility on an 8.5 hectare site

High rise warehouse featuring fully automated stock placement / retrieval, 20 metres high.
Column free awning areas 10 metres wide.
Built on poor ground, former tip with highly reactive ground conditions.
